We’ve been hired to complete all kinds of projects for our clients, and they don’t all fit neatly in to one of the other main categories, so we’re listing a few more here. We’ve built ot updated several fireplaces. We’ve modified countless types of Ikea products to be used as custom closets, pantries, kitchen and laundry components, or home theatre elements. We’ve overhauled garages to add storage lofts, built workbenches, carpentry & tool storage areas, added power for specialty tools, and improved lighting and overall finishes. We’ve fabricated several types of floating shelf systems, built bedroom lofts, and coffee stations. We are truly a “General Contractor”, and we can complete any task you can dream up.

Fireplaces

This custom fireplace is 16 feet tall, which serves to separate the office and living-room spaces in a large open-plan main floor. It features a 3-sided gas fireplace, clad in cultured stone all around. There’s also a 9-foot tall custom 2-sided bookcase, and poured-in-place black concrete hearth. Accent lighting, power, central vacuum, and structured wiring, and a heavy-duty universal arm for the flat-screen TV complete this wonderfully crafted focal point.

A little family-room makeover.

This older Edgemont home had a family-room which needed a little update. In addition to the new floor, we completely rebuilt the existing fireplace with a new tile hearth. We found reclaimed 1977 materials and restored the original brick which had been buried behind a previous renovation, and we built a custom distressed salvaged timber mantle.

Here’s another simple example of a custom closet installation in a child’s bedroom behind double mirror slider doors. After discussing the client’s wishes, a sketch was created for approval, and once approved, we completed the install. No excuses now for dirty clothes on the floor.
