It may seem odd for a company to work in the realms of music and construction, but we come by the pairing naturally. Our roots as a company are firmly planted in music production and broadcasting. Jason Wright started Dark Matter Productions in Vancouver in 1994, to serve the production needs of the vibrant music and alternative media markets there. Jason recognized a void in those markets in his home town of Calgary, and in 1995, he decided to return to Alberta to break new ground, and hasn’t looked back.  Over the years, he has worked with some of the world’s finest musicians, orchestras and studios, and has provided thousands of music students with their first exposure to professional sound recording.
